Overview 
Phase change materials (PCMs) are thermally conductive interface materials designed to improve heat transfer between electronic components and cooling structures. They are solid at room temperature and soften or flow when heated during device operation, allowing the material to wet contact surfaces, fill microscopic air gaps, and form a thin bond line with low contact resistance. PCMs support flexible assembly and high-volume manufacturing needs, delivering reliable thermal performance while reducing common issues associated with thermal greases, such as pump-out, dry-out, and material migration. PCMs are available in multiple formats.
